So here's what you have to do...leave a comment and I'll pick a random comment on November 15th. I'm in the process of organizing all my fabric so tell me what you do....do you organize by color, designer, or collection?

Oh please please please pick me! I sort my fabric by style... you know brights, country, solids, old lady fabrics, vintage fabrics, kiwiana.

I'm not entering - because I won last month so it'd be pure greed to try for another chance, wouldn't it?

My fabric is organised so badly, it's organised in levels of preciousness - and somehow I can find whatever I want, even though there is no real order to it other than 'i like this one best, so it can live in the special section'

I organize by color. I think it's easier and looks good ^^
    Thanks for the chance.

My (so little) stash doesn't need any organisation since I don't have enough fabric! I currently have one box with all my fabric all cut up for the first quilt I am making and then another box with the rest of the fabric I couldn't resist buying but for wich I don't have any plan yet. Thanks for the chance of winning more beautiful fabric for my little stash!! Have a nice day! :)

I love her fabrics! I have all my fabric in the china cabinet - prettier and better use than the china that never moves! It is generally by color, then I also have a novelty pile, a munki pile, and a FQ pile. I fold all my fabrics around a 6.5" wide ruler, theni n half, so they are nice flat pieces. When stacked, it's easy to see all my choices! The FQs are on their own because they are too small to see in a big stack. Now, scraps are a whole other story! I don't have anything better than to toss them into a big bucket right now!

I don't organize any of those ways! I do it more by size. The bigger pieces in one pile, the medium pieces in a pile, the small pieces in a pile, and the scraps. I don't quilt. I do all kinds of sewing projects and when I am searching my fabric I am usually looking for a certain size piece so this helps me the most.

I just TRY to keep it neat. It is hard.

Good luck and thanks for another great giveaway!

curious question! im gonna enjoy reading the rest of the comments. Im really scattered with organizing...some by designer, some by color...scraps usually by designer i guess...larger cuts by color, but its all pretty haphazard! Thanks for a chance at this lovely charm pack!

I organize my scraps/small pieces by color in clear plastic bins. Due to lack of space, the rest of my cottons (fat quarters and larger) are dumped unceremoniously into one large clear plastic bin. I dig through it looking for color matches and sometimes make an awful mess, but I love it.
Thanks for the chance at your giveaway.

Oh, I love this collection! I organize by color and by types of fabrics. I love to use long containers like baskets and plant containers to hold my fat quarters so I can put them on display in my workroom. I have as many fabrics as I can out and on display to inspire me as I work! I have my batiks separate and my vintage fabrics as well from my more modern prints. Thanks for such a lovely giveaway!

Thanks for organizing the bee... should be fun.

I organize my fabric by cut (precut, FQ bundles, or misc - 1/2yds plus), then I put seasons together fall, xmas, valentines, etc. then group R/W/B, girly, brights, etc.... Good luck!

    Hi Tiffany,
Your sewing room is looking better than mine! I am still folding fabric from my "flood" induced reorganization. I took the plunge and sorted mostly by color but can't completely let go of some collections going into the mix...
I have been cutting a lot into strips and they are sorted by color.

Organize? Never lol. Actually, I have most of my fabrics in tubs in the corner of the livingroom. My fat quarters are in rolling bins under my cutting table. My scraps are in the desk drawer that I use for my sewing machine.
